These wooden soap dishes are extremely rare. They have been made using reclaimed wood and preserved using the traditional Japanese method of Yakisugi (yak-ee-su-gi). Each dish is unique and the method of preserving helps to bring out the grain of the wood giving each dish wonderful texture.
5 small holes can be found at the bottom of the dish to allow for drainage between use. This will help your soap to dry between usage, enabling it to lasting longer.
Please note due to the nature of the Yakisugi technique the colouring although very similar will vary and grain in the image will differ to that in the image.
